Founded in 1992 by Bruce and Joyce Bente, Specialty Plastics & Fabrication has become over the years a leading distributor and manufacturer of fluid processing and handling equipment.  The idea was to create a company able to supply unique plastic products to the high tech firms in the Boise market (Micron & HP) that were purchasing their products out-of-state due to the lack of local plastic manufacturing companies in this area.

Bruce brings to SPF over 30 years of experience in the plastics industry - his determination, abilities and knowledge has transformed SPF into a market leader.  The couple worked long hours - Bruce worked on small custom fabrication jobs himself and Joyce handled the administrative side of the business.  Bruce and Joyce handled the distribution portion of the business.

Today, we are the only company in the Boise market that offers "one-stop shop" capabilities - distribution and custom fabrication.  With the growth, we have expanded our client base to countries all over the world:
